for introducing me to video games 25 years ago. He brought over an Intellivision when i was 3 and i tinkered around with it. I was hooked. From that day forward, my life has revolved around video games. I don't know whethter to thank him, or hate him for causing me to go for broke for this beautiful hobby. My next purchases will be Mercenaries 2. SOCOM. Bioshock. Dead Space. Resistance 2. Killzone 2. Hopefully Microsoft will do a price cut before christmas. I want Gears and Halo.

I will disagree. Microsoft will spend any amount of money to try and beat Sony. That is all they want. If someone told them the only way to beat Sony is to spend 20 billion dollars, I do believe they would consider it very highly.
Just my humble opinion of course.
Microsoft doesn't care about winning. They don't care about their customers. All they want is to beat Sony. Their focus isn't about improving gaming, pushing it forward, just the ability to say "we beat them". Then what? They would be lost if they ever did, they wouldn't know what to do next. They only entered the gaming market to try and take out Sony. They are not helping anything.
